Panther Career Net is Moving to Handshake
We’re Moving to Handshake!
What Does This Mean?
University Career Services is partnering with the J. Mack Robinson College of Business Career Advancement Center, the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies and the School of Public Health to operate on one unified career management system – Handshake.
With Handshake, you’ll be connected to even more career opportunities that are relevant to you including full-time positions, co-ops, internships, part-time jobs, on-campus jobs, career fairs, workshops, resources and so much more on the go with Handshake’s mobile-friendly website and iOS app.
What Should Students Do Now?
University Career Services, specifically, will be moving away from Panther Career Net (PCN) after June 30, 2017. If you currently have documents on PCN such as a resume or cover letter, please download and save them before June 30 so that you can upload it to your new Handshake account.
What Happens Next?
In the next few weeks, Handshake will email you an official invitation to join the Georgia State University iteration of Handshake. Your account will automatically populate with your information from the Registrar’s office (as it does currently with PCN), and you will choose what information, if any, to display to employers.
We at University Career Services are thrilled to be connecting you to powerful career resources such as Handshake! Be sure to follow @PantherCareer on social media for exciting news about Handshake and many more resources coming to Georgia State University next semester.Download Your PCN Documents!
