Career Resource Center
The central hub of University Career Services is our Career Resource Center. It is available to all GSU students and Alumni and offers a wide range of resources and assistance. We have computer work stations with internet based research links to assist you with everything from labor market information, career decision making, Job search resources and our own Panther Career Net with updated job, internship opportunities. Panther Career Net allows you to upload your résumé and place it in the system for applications to job listings.
Our reference library has approximately 800 books, periodicals and reference materials related to job search, graduate school planning and personal and professional career development.
The Resource Center hosts our RésuMania daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is when our career professionals at University Career Services will sit down with you “Face to Face” to help you create a stellar résumé that employers will notice. Other than résumé, CV and cover letters, they also assist you in your career decision making process.
Joba Café is our multipurpose lounge and is housed in our Resource Center. Stop by anytime, and you may find and open forum discussion or relax with a cup of hot chocolate or tea on occasion. It’s quiet and comfortable and a great place to study during exams.
Put us on your to-do- list and drop in.
The Career Resource Center may be closed in the event of a career fairs, school closing or school holiday.
