Kristina's path has always been fueled by her passion to help and support others from various walks of life. While pursuing her undergraduate degree in Human Services at Kennesaw State University, she worked as a Student Assistant supporting the campus food pantry and case managers that worked with students who were experiencing hardships, such as food insecurity, homelessness and/or the foster care system. She realized the impactful role that the faculty and staff within the university played in so many people's lives, including her own, at such a pivotal time. After graduating, she took a role within her alma mater, as the Program Assistant of the GEAR UP Georgia grant, supporting the college and career readiness of high school students throughout the state, who were experiencing homelessness and/or the foster care system. Her work within public institutions and the government motivated her to continue her education pursuing her Master's in Public Administration. During her time working the GEAR UP Georgia grant, her passion for serving students and supporting them to in their college and career goals continued to grow, especially within higher education. This led her to Georgia State University as the Job Location and Development Coordinator. In her role, she aspires to continue supporting students on their path from college to careers.
