Makesha Dockery

Makesha H. Dockery's path is one of passion and purpose. Her desire to help people is what led her from a position in higher education to a corporate environment to non-profit organizations and ultimately back to higher education to work with college students. Since Makesha's career journey was not linear, she was able to learn from a variety of experiences both in business and private sector. She believes that experience is the key to understanding your passion and purpose. Therefore she currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Cooperative Education and Internship Association (C.E.I.A.) as a Region III, Vice President. Additionally, she serves within the community to share the importance of discovering passion and purpose for individuals in career transition. She aims to inspire, motivate and encourage college students in their career pursuits and provide a source of hope toward accomplishing dreams.
