Shannon Shelton

Shannon is a GSU graduate with a Master of Science in clinical counseling and a Master of Arts in Cultural Studies, and she holds the national certified counselor (NCC) and certified rehabilitation counselor (CRC) credentials. Her career focuses on career and vocational counseling and mental health wellness, coupled with her professional background in academic advisement and training & development. She is a member of the Licensed Professional Counselor’s Association and American Counseling Association. Shannon is an advocate for diversity and inclusion and considers it an honor to work with GSU’s students and alumni as a Career Counselor in UCS
