VMock Aspire helps users get instant feedback on their LinkedIn profile with targeted and personalized recommendations on how to improve the language, content and keyword optimization of their LinkedIn profile. Using Aspire, students can strengthen their search engine ranking, improve profile visibility and create a consistent story across LinkedIn and Resume for recruiters.
VMock Cover Letter module is a newly introduced tool that allows users to create a company or job-specific cover letter with real-time feedback on the relevant parameters. Users can optimize their cover letters for each job opening, get personalized samples and recommendations, feedback on targeted keywords, impact of the content, and essential formatting checks.
VMock is delighted to introduce an advanced SMART Editor to help you achieve all-star profile strength. These machine learning engines scan your resume to offer instant and targeted sample suggestions for each bullet. Secure 24/7, real-time guidance from the platform to make your resume stand out and maximize your job-search outcomes.
VMock SMART Interview platform allows users to upload a set of target job descriptions and resume to auto-populate a personalized mock interview to get 360-degree feedback across a variety of questions like behavioral, technical, knowledge-based, etc. Users will have the option to edit/replace/delete questions based on their needs and preparation level.

- After uploading your resume, you will receive line-by-line feedback and an aggregate resume score (strive for 85+) to assess the strength of your resume benchmarked against your own GSU peer group. Using SMART benchmarking, VMock grades your resume in three categories, impact, presentation, and competencies.
- After receiving your initial score, select “View Detailed Feedback” on the right side of the webpage for line-by-line suggestions.
- Select “System Feedback” on the right side of the webpage to see your resume from the recruiter perspective.
- Select “Bullet Level Feedback” to delve even deeper into the content and structure of your resume.
- Use the feedback gained from VMock to make updates to your resume.

Georgia State University students are offered 10 resume uploads per academic year. If you run out of uploads, please contact VMock Customer Support ([email protected]) to request a reset.
All current undergraduates and postgraduate students are eligible to use VMock. Each undergraduate student has 10 resume uploads each academic year and can practice their interview pitch for multiple questions. Each postgraduate student has 5 resume uploads each academic term.
